Financial analysts assess the economic performance of companies and industries for firms and institutions with money to invest. Financial analysts read company financial statements and analyze commodity prices, sales, costs, expenses, and tax rates in order to determine a company’s value and to project its future earnings. They often meet with company officials to gain a better insight into the firm’s prospects and to determine its managerial effectiveness.

Job Description
COMPLIANCE ANALYST $59K
The group, where Compliance Analyst is working, purpose is to safeguard the account management process by controlling and effectively mitigating portfolio risk. The role on offer is for an analyst to work on converting existing client, product and regulatory guidelines from one system onto another. Analysis of regulations and investment guidelines coded into existing compliance / guideline monitoring systems, validating existing coding against the client and product guidelines stored in our account management system, coding of guidelines and regulatory text into the new compliance / guideline monitoring systems for existing accounts, properly removing closed accounts from old systems, user Acceptance Testing of new data sets and structures, validation of new test result against output from old monitoring systems are the necessary skills fro the position holder. Also, Compliance Analyst should provide tactical and strategic support, analysis and reporting to the Supervisor. Drive operational excellence, compliance integrity and process improvement. Ensure compliance with US Customs and Border Protection (CPB) and other government agencies laws and regulations. Ensure import documentation compliance through problem resolution and post-audits.
Desired Qualities
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
  • 5 years experience of working in the industry
  • Project management skills
